EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

Many communities in developing countries do not have any schools. Often these communities are difficult to reach because of poor transportation systems and as a result, function largely in isolation. Lack of financial resources and tribal politics also contribute to their discouraging situation.
CH Global has been able to reach many of these communities and has provided the necessary support to build schools. We assist in hiring and training teachers, developing curriculum and providing educational materials. All children in these communities are served by the school, with a special emphasis placed on accommodating children with exceptional needs.
Through strategic partnerships, CH Global multiplies your generous donation of financial and time resources by aligning with like minded organizations. This means your assistance is maximized and your support is far reaching. In addition to supporting conventional schools, CH Global is involved in other types of educational programming such as Alternative Basic Education and After School Programs as a large-scale effort to improve literacy.

Education Programs, Ethiopia
Our Alternative Basic Education Program is conducted in an effort to reduce illiteracy among out-of-school children, people with disabilities, and people from hard-to-reach or marginalized communities in several African and Central American countries. We work in association with partner organizations and governments. The program provides basic literacy training and other forms of education outside of the formal school system (because a formal school system is not accessible or does not exist).
Thousands of people have already benefited from the program.
